Gov’t Mule Announces Fall Tour in Support of New Album

Gov’t has confirmed plans for a fall tour in support of its upcoming release, The Deep
End. The album is a tribute to the late Allen Woody and features guest bass players who
were of great influence to him. The line-up includes Les Claypool, Phil Lesh, Alphonso
Johnson, Jack Casady, John Entwistle, Mike Gordon, David Schools, Chris Wood, Tony
Levin, Oteil Burbridge and Flea, among others.

The tour kicks off September 1 and 2 at Van Hoy Farms in Union Grove, NC. The touring
line-up will consist of guitarist Warren Haynes, drummer Matt Abts, keyboardist Chuck
Leavell and bassists Oteil Burbridge and David Schools, who will each play select
shows. The tour itinerary includes dates in Tennessee, Florida, Colorado, Washington,
Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana,
Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York,
North Carolina and Georgia. Mule will end the tour with two concerts in New Orleans on
October 27; at the Voodoo Fest and the House of Blues.

Gov’t Mule featuring Oteil Burbridge will also perform at the Summit Music Festival on
