mark Glad you found some corroboration on the delete without opening scenario being the way to go. I "know" I've read it many times and spent some time yesterday trying to find the right link but never came up with anything relevant. As far as the preview pane in OE is concerned, a patch was released several months ago to prevent scripts being executed when viewed in the preview pane. Before that release there was a definite danger in using it and the problem was widely publicized. Even though I failed to find what I was looking for, the thread did it's normal job of teaching the participants. I now know more than I probably will ever need or want to know about SPAM! <gg> tc :-)
