Of course you have a right to be critical. But your use of "We" when referring to taxpayer costs was misplaced.

Yes, this "can" set a precedent, but do you see a wave of copycat measures sweeping across the land? Not!

The needs/rights of minorities are routinely considered and addressed everywhere by the majority. If that didn't occur, the majority would very likely find itself in the minority very soon, don't you think?
