I agree 100%. I spent 3 years with Intel. What amazes me is the perception of Intel from others who have no experience. They all say how strict it is and how things are done only their way. Very far from the truth IMHO. I've even heard of it referred to as the "salt mines." Well, they were strict, but it was all peer induced; not manager induced. Big difference.
