Dear Derek: Yes, Fla. is the worst, mainly cause they dont have the union strength. However, everything is relative. I know nurses making as much as 60k a year in Calif. and New York, but then compare that to what everyone else is making. The only reason most nurses around here make out ok is there is an INCREDIBLE amount of OT due to the nursing shortage. But, they often burn out in mid 30's. JDN
