CoMC,
Why should anyone trust you with their personal information? If I sent you my personal information directly, How do I know that you wouldn't divulge this information if we came to a disagreement. How do I know that you will only use this information for the intended purposes? What guarantees can you give that you have never and would never violate that trust? You have made it clear that you wouldn't violate agreements under attorney/client privilege (even when you are the client, which I don't understand). If I am to give any information, that is the kind of protection that I want...attorney/client. Not AnonymousSIpersonality/MyRealNameandInfo (and even though you list your real name, I still don't have any reason to trust you).

Your insistance that Leeza discouraged people from coming forward is what raised the red flag for me. She was giving sound advice and you seemed to take it as a threat.
You then say "Those kinds of comments shall frighten traders from coming forward". This is absurd for anyone who can parse a sentence written in English.

And

I did not insinuate anything. I asked very direct and unambiguous questions. I don't believe that I received direct responses.

I don't like the actions that the daytrader/broker enterprises do, but I do think that people do need to step up and take some responsibility for their part in losing their money.

To reiterate, Leeza did not discourage people from coming forward, she discouraged people from divulging their information to you, an unprivileged (in a legal sense) person. This is common sense and if you want people to feel secure in coming forward, I would think that you would encourage them to contact the legal firm directly.

You cannot possibly know why I do this in this manner.
You are right, I cannot know why you do this in this manner. You haven't really been giving much information to work with on this.

Have you ever considered that perhaps I know this field very well, and shall be able to filter out those who are obviously going to attempt to launch an evidentiary fishing expedition, or otherwise interfere with this process as it goes forward?
I don't think that you would really appreciate my response to this.
