The best choice is not to watch the market all the time, check your levels and try to leave orders, like sell below 1282 buy ABOVE 1219, and leave generous stops if long above 1219 cut below 1209 and if short below 1282 cut on reversal above 1292, naturally don't forget trading options on futures is all about volatility you buy when most of the are selling and you sell when most of them are buying you get the best fill on volatility based premiums.. I hate watching markets 24 hours rather I would leave them on outside orders.. but I don't know your size of involvement, something that works for me may not work for you, I would think that for every 5 minute watch you would run bigger chances of whipsaw, I try to avoid that as much as possible.
