Betty - Some people & cities are just luckier than others. . .
San Diego is a very nice place. . . cool. . . up-to-date & if not, gets there fast. . . much larger than our little hick town of Rancho Cucamonga.
Our initial cable system was done quick & dirty without any real forward planning at all. . they just ran coaxial cable.

Some day we will get it. . . but it will be more hell waiting for it @ 56k. . . <g>

I think there are more cities like ours than yours which are really putting a crimp in the high-speed broadband era.

Just like computers. . . when the larger Intel 386/486 first came out, it took awhile before there was software to really take advantage of the power. . . same with the Pentium. . . the same will be when going to the 64 bit word cpu's.

I guess it's called 'progress'. . . where some cities progress faster than others.

I can hardly wait.
