Out here in the San Francisco Bay area a young boy was brutally attacked by three Pit Bull dogs. He was horribly mauled and will face many years of corrective surgery. The listeners of KGO radio have donated over 200,000 dollars to a trust fund for the child. That fund is still growing as donations continue to pour in. He was riding his new bike that his parents had bought him for making the school honor roll when the three dogs attacked him. Say what you wish about the people of this state, but we do have something here that many others lack. We have hearts and aren't afraid of "throwing some money at the problem".
