Thanks, HJ. I hope you're doing well, and that the Fool takes a bath on AFFX.

My efforts to keep up with this board consist of an occasional stop by to read the last 10 or 20 of the 1000 posts which have accumulated.

fool.com may go broke, but their Rule Breaker portfolio's safe for a while. IMO they have some very good information for the common folks, such as how to buy a home -- something I'm looking into a bit more now. Denver's not very affordable, so anything I buy will involve some financial stretching.

I lost AMZN during the big Nasdaq whoosh in April -- I just had to have a little more cash to buy other stocks which had become all too attractive then. I've been sitting on my MSFT, just watching. To me it seems likely that any remedy will allow them to continue incorporating new features into Windows, and that they'll still be able to sell application software. Rules regarding opening API's will change, but that should be a good thing for them as improved software quality everywhere will help the industry grow. Hope I'm not dead wrong.

I've continued to add to RATL, APWR (albeit slowly, since shares have stayed high mostly), and NATI. My portfolio is a manageable size, and I'm comfortable with what I own.
