Don't leave tinker. Your logical, thoughtful, intelligent & honest posts are most welcome here. Your debates with bilow are excellent. No doubt that bilow, scum, ET AL, have an agenda. Truth, accuracy & objectivity are not on that agenda. You will need to learn to accept that simple truth.

In the mean time, please continue to post your POV on RMBS. It's a refreshing change from the constant load of blatant BS served up here by Team FUD.

Regards,

Ö¿Ö

Hey Tinker,

Don't mind Bilow. He gets bogged down when he has to make more than 2 orders of french fries.
(Of course, that DDR based fryolator will solve that)

point that RDRAM is now even slower than SDRAM100?

Write a pathological enough huge spreadsheet based benchmark and you can show a PIII-1G PC133 beat a P4 1.3GHz with PC800 drdram.

As for PC100, doubt if comparable classes of CPU exists. But a benchmark that sequentially reads only a 32bit value in the end of every 32byte sample and skips 256 bytes over some 32MB span in a loop might have a chance of doing it if you can find a PC100 800MHz PIII and run this test against a P4 1.3GHz. :)

Alternately you could do a sequential read of memory taking care to not skip anything, (eg : sandra) and you will see dual DRDRAM crush pc-133 handily.

This is why you should not trust benchmarks too much.
