I am saying such Americans deserve the utmost respect,
Something which you are obviously sadly lacking.

Dear Rich: I have to jump in here just to tell you a little story, its just one of many I could tell but frankly I dont like to talk about this stuff.
I had a good friend. We joined the USMC together, went through boot camp together and went overseas together. His name was Goldsmith. He was just an ordinary fellow, from a coal mining town, no higher education beyond HS, no rich family.
Well, one day he got slightly wounded and was sent to the field hospital to get bandaged up. He was what you might call the walking wounded. While at the station with others more seriously injured than he, a young VC (just a kid) came by and threw a grenade in the tent. Now, Goldsmith COULD have dove for cover, could have ran out and saved his ass. But instead he attempted to KICK the grenade away from the others. It exploded and Goldsmith lost BOTH HIS LEGS. Think about that, think about what sacrifices many have made for others, complete strangers. Thats all I have to say. JDN
