MOT's license does allow it to sell CDMA chips.

Which goes against every statement I have ever heard from QCOM management's mouths..

Interesting to note though.. As Intel, and Phillips paid Billions to acquire DSPComm and VLSI which have Re-sale IS-95 licenses.. Motorola with a worldwide Semi-Conductor business simply decided that it was making too much money without the bother of ordering an extra 10 million asics to offer to other customers!
