pick a Framer that's the best. I quite agree. It was a lucky circumstance for America that several great men were available and worked together at the same time. If I had to choose, I would choose G.Washington. Not as a general, not as the first President. I would choose him as the first President to give up power. With his great popularity in the military he formed the order of Cincinatus, a group which let it be known that the military would rise against any subsequent government that did not yeild power gracefully when called to. Can you imagine what America would be like if moral midgets like James Baker an Anton Scalia were founding fathers? TP
