I was roped into this in the beginning because of Tim. Remember?

Someone kindly untie that damnable lasso so DrMensaWannaBe may be freed from the constraining shackles of attempted debate victory through defamation of character.

Yes, now I have truly heard it all: you were forced to post as you have here.

Not truly. If I wished to ask anyone I would and directly. If someone wishes to be a plaintiff, I would want to know if they are honest, as Counsel would wish to know (the reason for face-to-face meetings before agreements are made) and if someone attacks without any factual foundation then I am curious, but if someone simply wishes to make statements, then I need not ask. FYI Brandon has been quite candid about his position here - and we disagree completely and I do not believe a word he has posted about the kickbacks. All I ask is that you do the same. Why do you refuse to answer simple questions which are critical in establishing your motivation here?

O.A.

I've known Tim for a long time via SI. Took me a while to get to know him on a more personal level (phone calls).

I now hang out in his site (non fee based,,,small charge to keep the room up) with whoever happens to show up. Been well over a year now that I've been there. Some trading, a little small talk but for the most part a quiet place to hang with what I consider friends.

Tim? Little nuts but if I were ever looking for a shirt to cover my back.....

I don't know the answers to your other questions. I do know that you seem to be avoiding mine.

I will tell you how I came to know Tim Luke Stefanich. This spring, I returned to SI to see that a discussion that I had had this past Fall had now come to the fore again, and that Tim had suffered libel and abuse as I had. Following a brief exchange here, I spoke with him on the telephone many times. I gave him mu number, and he called.

He was suspended because he reposted a post I had made. No caving in or selfish motives where he is concerned, and he had only just gotten to know me. You know, what Tim did in doing that, sticking his posting privileges on the line for me - and what Patricia did later in one of the most moving and beautiful statements I have ever read here - I shall never, ever forget.

Tim was libeled by a woman involved with this racket. I knew who he was here of course for a long time - Tim has been well-known and admirably colorful here for many years -but I never knew this about him. I am now glad to know him. One simple, resolute act told me all I needed to know. I have not seen much of that in day trading for some time. It was unselfish and noble. I do not give this high praise without cause. Furthermore, at risk to his own position, he trusted me enough to arrange an important introduction for me. He was under no obligation a all to do this. I shall not soon forget it.

Tim, next time I am in your neck of the woods, I would like to take you out to dinner and raise the old Italian toast to you:

Soldi, salute ed l'amore - ed il tiempo di piacere tutti le tre. (Health, money and love - and the time to enjoy all three.)

Though I am sure at some point we may disagree on things - in these matters, that is all too easy - it is a toast I reserve for only a few whom I have known in my life. You are certainly one man to whom I would be very happy to raise it. Maybe we should wait some time, though, lol. Though you havent't seen much of that here yet, I can be colorful in the utterance too.

Best Regards,

Olivier

I back up Bob on Tim

We have had quite a group of misfits on our site... everyone with 5k to ? to invest. I relish the term "misfit", so excuse the term fellow members. Investment capital was never discussed. Tim treated every investment question seriously. Just by our room count and the stocks we invested in, did he, or could he, manipulate the market......HELLO????! Yeah, EXDS, 10,000 shares?

If I'm ever in trouble in L.A., or if Tim is Chi-town and needs help, we're here for eachother. Heck, if Tim called me from Tim-buck-too (lol) and needed help, I'd be there and I've never met him in the flesh but, feel that I know him and his short-comings.......it has been 3 years.

OK.... if you have a problem with Tim outside his rantings, and want to know how he ran his SI room or private one, I'm here to testify. I'm an average women in Chicago making a living with a degree and a life.

Questions welcome...........
