A casual reading of the CA order seems to make it very clear that their analysis of the law is that it does not protect competitors and those same competitors will have a tough time arguing that a product that doesn't yet exit in the market place is a monopoly.

My guess is that Intel is setting up for the fourth quarter release of the 0.13 micron Pentium 4 - Northwood - at 2.2 GHz.
