I don't see how anyone can be displeased with MSFT's stock performance this year in the face of a still very uncertain tech climate. I'm confident that if the Court of Appeals had left Judge Jackson on the case there's no way MSFT would be trading at the levels it's held since the ruling, so a lot of the "good news" from the ruling was already in the stock. Let MSFT spend a while digesting and consolidating these gains. The market can then begin to discount both a likely settlement as well as the start of the major XP upgrade cycle.
