11:42am 07/03/01 PDA makers continue progress from lows (HAND, PALM, RIMM) By Chris Kraeuter
Handheld computer makers, while far from setting any high-water marks for recent stock price performance, have bounced from all-time lows. Palm (PALM) currently trades for $6.11, 56 percent higher than an all-time low of $3.91 set on June 20. Handspring (HAND) is at $7.16, 55 percent higher than its low of $4.60, also set on June 20. Research In Motion (RIMM) is now twice as high as an April 3 18-month low of $15.50. Shares are at $32.40.
