Jerome, OT *** Consumer Reports

You said >Time to boost the American and Canadian economy by downing my share of Molson's and LaBatts.<

The latest CR has a study of beer. But it sounds as if you'd rather do your own research.:)

OT - Happy 4th to all here. Time to enjoy some good 'ol American family fun. Going to buy the kids a couple of "boogie boards" and head over the hill to Half Moon Bay for some sun, sand and surf. See ya all later.

Happy July 4th or whatever

As to paper trading... I don't give a squat about what emotions will do. First the novice needs to learn the mechanics, how to get quotes, how much gain will pay for the commission, etc...

There is plenty of time LATER to learn how hard it is to make money trading when emotions like ego are added to the formula.

Bottom line, if there was a magic formula to get rich easily, then everyone would be rich. Closest I have seen is buying great, cyclical growth companies like AMAT when they are out of favor, selling at low price/book and price/sales and then hold for 10 years and THEN take some profits.
