Cory
market share measured in $$$$ and in units, which one are you talking about? I doubt that there was increase in total unit sales from q1 to q2 and hence amd gained unit market share.

Cory On June 7 INTC said they took back marketshare, Mercury says they did.....who knows

AMD number is more reliable. They know how many processor they sold (a record). Intel says they gained marketshare, but that assumes that they know the size of the market. Nobody knows that. Also, INTC has been consistently denying their marketshare loss, so I don't view them as credible. AMD management has many flaws, but they seem to have been truthful about processor sales.
