Sure, there are lots of ifs in the bearish scenario. And an equal number of ifs in the bullish scenario.

We aren't in a recession now, because we haven't had 2 quarters of negative GDP growth. Yet. And maybe we won't. Maybe.

Sure, some would rather be optimistic. They aren't buying now, because they were optimistic (and fully invested) at much higher levels. The pessimists are only ones holding cash today. I would rather be a pessimist, so my surprises are the pleasant kind.

I don't invest based on WAGs.
