why should a decree freeing up trade for Russian gold producers have any effect whatsoever on the PoG? what difference does it make to the PoG if the producers sell themselves and the banks are cut out as middlemen? all it means is that the producers will make more, and the banks lose a source of income...big deal.

Why? They did a good job on raising the price of platinum & palladium. Didn't they create another (small) bubble in palladium? Whats wrong with that?
