This is not an issue of "load". Things are much
more complicated these days. The Windows environment
is called "integrated", which means that all applications
and data files and structures must be registered
with the system via couple of INI files and MS Registry.
All your e-mail structures must be in certain directory
trees, DLLs must be registered and placed in proper
ways. During original installation, all this is taken
care by huge "install" or "setup" scripts and programs.
It is not easy just to "load" your old data from
another drive or network unless it was initially
set up in this way, and usually it was not.

Gene raised a very important problem. MS sucks.
