TI2, TechInvestorToo, While I'm not really what you'd call a TA guy, I do try to keep one eye on the charts. We moved down to the $45-$46 level around June 20th. I believe we broke some support at that time. Prior to that we're looking at the early April lows for a close this low. Today, I placed my short-term long play at this level hoping that we don't close below $45. I'm looking for a short-term bounce here, however I also feel if we break and close below $45, we may have just opened the doors for a re-test.

I'm no TA expert, but so far AMAT has stayed above the top of the early April gap. If it gets to the bottom of the gap, I'm told that's bearish.
