Tom, I'd prefer they change to a cut of 1/16 of a point every Friday ..... <gggg>

That way we can hit triple figures in rate cuts by yearend.

Tom- this is the absolute best time to buy a computer- everything is so cheap its unreal.. No kidding, my system costs no more than $450, 128mb,(sdram but it also has DDR capabilities but I was too cheap to spend the extra $30!) a 20gig hard drive, video card, keyboard, and a 1 ghz AMD processor.. I keep hearing people brag about getting 1gig of memory, rambus, $300 nividia g-3 cards.. to trade stock??? or play games? : )

What I bought is too much power for me.. In fact, Im still using my 300mhz system as I type.. The only thing I would urge you to do is spend the money and get an LCD monitor. Dale can back me up on this one! Your eyes will thank you a thousand times over..

Im sorta heavy on the long side going into next week and the tough part is I need to decide just how far down Ill let the market take me. I put a short in on CCMP at 55.60 yesterday just to hedge myself.. It follows the nasdaq perfectly so if we drop more Ill add to my longs and at least have some extra profit from the CCMP short.. but I really have no clue where any of this is going.. It just seems like going down now is sorta odd considering that all the news we got this week was what we all were speculating on over the last few months- of course in fairness, some of this news is worse then I expected- but I certainly feel more comfortable trying to find a bottom now rather then last month!

so heres where we stand Tom.. If we are wrong and the market drops another 100 points by Tuesday, do we step back? add? The markets have been lacking conviction for so long it seems, that surely something has to break! well, if we do collapse- IM certain my choice of MU and CCMP will lead the charge straight down south.. but IM still leaning up..

Lotsa the big t/a folks are bearish now, but I find that when the market is having trouble working valuations out like we are seeing recently- TA is worthless..

Its gonna be a fun one thats for sure..

Tom,

What theme you ask? Reading what you thought and did, I have the theme song to Mission Impossible running through my head now <ggg>
