Hmmm.... So all the Chinese people, EXCEPT THE COMMUNISTS, are criminals?

BTW, how do you define a criminal ?

Somewhere the interests of economic and personal freedom will inevitably clash with those have proclaimed themselves the unelected guardians of "all that is good"...

Once they have economic freedom, they can go anywhere, establishing a business in an underdeveloped foreign country, bringing up a third world economy. They can also travel to a lot of countries without worrying about their profiles. Sounds so good. That really means personal freedom.

When you give people economic freedom, political and personal freedom will not linger far behind.

maybe that's a basic principle of "reform thru prosperity".

Because, as you foolishly fail to realize, government repression of freedom is the most destabilizing element in society. Any order that is maintained is strictly artificial and not based upon the consent of the people.

That's a very nice argument. But ... Do you guarantee me that the India Empire are not going to invade China ? Do you guarantee me that the Islamic fundamentalists are not going to threaten China with terrorism because they hate global capitalism ? Afterall, I see China is a very stable nation when compared with India alone.
