Bush doing exactly the opposite of what people want. Ignoring public opinions to hand over sweetheart deals to cronies. Almost NO one in Santa Barbara wants more offshore drilling there. NO one. Who elected these people?

I just read Bush Administration energy czar Abraham now calling for 1700!! new power plants in coming decades, all of which would be built by his soft money supporters/cronies who would reap huge windfall profits. What crass cynical arrogant greedy corrupt selfish politics! They are just going to KILL the environment with these bloated plans and 98% of it it not even needed. They're trying to move before they may lose congress and no one can stop them but it's an absolute den of thieves running this country now. Absolute power has corrupted absolutely. This is worse than anything we have ever seen.
The pigs are feasting at the troughs, already fat as hell and trying to get fatter. Almost all of themf rom Texas. At OUR F'ing expense, people!

Question - who really put Bush into political power?
Answer George Schultz first approached him with the offer. Bectel corporation who along with Brown+Root are private companies (who don't have to report a damn thing to anyone so can be totally secret) behind these major power plant schemes. They built the infrastructure for the Vietnam War and kept that going thanks to Nixon and Johnson (texas again). Now they want the us all to go broke financing their 1700 power plant scheme. 17 power plants maybe. Maybe even 40 but 1700!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? Have they gone mad with power and greed? There isn't even a real energy crisis. It was mostly a complete fabrication.
WAKE UP everyone!! Republicans too. Everyone. YOU will pay the bills. YOU! I call on ANYONE besides total Bush supporters to give us any rationale besides greed and corruption for this. And don't forget half the plants will be COAL burning (smoke, pollution) and others NUKES (no safe place to put the waste) and the rest natural gas (500% gouging recently despite plenty of supply all of a sudden).
Wake UPPP!!! This is the biggest ripoff in our history going down. You heard it here.
