Palomino on DDR 266 vs. P4 on SDRAM (similarly prices platforms) will make for quite an opportunity.

If AMD can "Celeronize" P4...

And get people to understand that the 850 platform's benefit is from dual channel memory, not RDRAM. They kill off the marketing benefit of P4 and RDRAM.

But it won't be easy.
