IDC reports market share by server vendor. i.e. those server vendors listed are the main companies that collectively earn 60B in revenue (and Intel is not one of them) on server sales.

Server manufacturers pay their COMPONENT SUPPLIERS like Intel and Micron.

Now, are you saying HP sells a server with Oracle DB installed, integrated and supported by HP and then pays Oracle? Because thats what would need to happen if RDBMS was a server component.

And if it is not a server component and is not listed as a vendor in the server market, how can Oracle DB sales be a part of the 60B server sales?
