Morgan, as usual, handled it well. No panic in that guy. Business is slow but it will pick up. Futures up despite another warning from Corning, which painted a pretty horrible picture. I guess whatever has not been priced into that stock by now will be done tomorrow. regards

Morgan didn't say anything revolutionary. Spent a lot of time talking about the need for semiconductor companies to invest in technology. He said the value of the dollar was not a central issue for this industry. He did speak of the need for trade cooperation in general. When asked about next quarter's results, he said they were in their quiet period and couldn't talk about it. When asked about whether there were going to be any preannouncements, he said it didn't look like there would be a need for one at the moment.
