Joe - Re: "As far as revenues, Intel's were down 23% in Q1, and are expected to drop another 5%, or 28% drop combined.
In the same period, AMD revenues went up 1% in Q1 and are expected to be down 17%, or 16% drop combined."

In terms of AMDroid logic, the TREND now favours Intel.

Re: "To sum it up, Intel is losing unit market share"

There is NO evidence for this.

AMD said they shipped "in the aggregate" record volumes of AthWipers and DooWrongs - which could mean as little as 1 more CPU than they shipped in Q1.

If Intel's CPU shipments in Q2 were up by even a small amount (let's say 1,000 units more than Q1), Intel could still have increased market share over AMD in Q2.

Joe, <So far, Intel has 7 cents earnings from Q1.>

Intel has 16 cents from Q1. Including acquisition costs in actual earnings is merely trying to find a bone-to-pick.

Jozef,

Acquisition costs are consider "one time" or "extraordinary" charges, therefore they are not included in Net Income.....
