Good point. 99.9% on here are not true LTBH. I'd say a huge percent on SI aren't either.

LTBH strategy accumulates wealth. Like a turtle. That is, true LTBH, over years......

So often, the various discussions on here and around SI are confusing styles of investing between day traders, swing traders, LTBH and everything in between for those hunting the next home run. Questions/answers don't qualify the style of investing or improperly mix them. For example, so many folks are hung up on what the Naz is doing this minute, this hour, when really that doesn't mean squat at times to even swing traders geared more to days or weeks.

To many folks watch the ticker by minute when they ought to be doing something else on their life plan.

I'm a believer in dollar cost averaging the quality techs even though that is not my current style. However, I can enjoy my present style because I got there by LTBH over many years.
