The event took place just off Manhattan at Ellis Island, where ancestors of millions of Americans first set foot in the United States, to acknowledge immigrants' importance to the nation and its development. In his address, Bush committed the Immigration and Naturalization Service to a goal of processing all applications for U.S. citizenship in six months from start to finish.

And coal is even worse for the air. Meanwhile both Reagan and Bush kill research programs into cleaner, renewable fuels. Becuse they are in the pockets of the oil business, esp Bush/Cheney which IS the oil business. << So why do we need the government to solve this, won't natural forces solve it? Companies are already looking at fuel cells etc w/o g'vt funding because there is money to be made. Some day you'll need to look in the mirror and decide why you hate so much. Jim
