You have no way of judging "rational" price at this juncture. It all depends on when and how strong the recovery is and when investors react to that news. If you assume the economy never recovers then you can short them all to below book value. Manya re already well below book. A stock like SCNT is already priced at 50% cash in the bank. As they just said on CNBC, everyone knows we're oversold we just need an excuse to rally. So I wouldn't be short down here, no way. Go to cash if you're pessimistic but talk about priced-in. Good to see IBM hold 100 and pop back. Very positive sign. Also MSFT doing quite well now. Those have to be the two leaders for everything else to follow. We could use some okay news from INTC as well though no one expects it.
