But I like it. Can't tell what it is, but I've always been partial to sans serifs and the way they give more white space so they don't assault your eyes. Very nice change. I see the same font here while I'm composing this message. Soothing, in a way. I like "soothing" as a design element. Figured something got done right and was actually checked out before implementation (preferably by people who actively use the site). Figured wrong. Went to TLC's post and couldn't believe what I was seeing! Serifs! Tiny little serifs, at that! Geez! And I can't wait to see what fixed-width looks like. Anyway, I hate it and think it's a bad idea. But, as I told one of the programmers when I got tired of delivering soliloquies in the company of masonry again, just days before I was (coincidentally?) laid off, "But WTFDIK!" Bob Z. PS. I know TLC caught it, but in case someone else doesn't (heck, I'm writing this at 2 in the morning), the "soliloquies in the company of masonry" bit is a combination of "talking to myself" and "talking to a brick wall". I used to do that a lot. And yell at my monitor. Edit: I see they've completed (?) the conversion to Cascading Style Sheets. I applaud the use of them, but I noticed that the class is "Message" both for the header text and for messages themselves. Wonder why they look different in the two different screens? The CSS link is identical (as far as I can tell) in both, although I'm confused why there are two stylesheet links; one lowercase and one uppercase and both pointing to different files in different directories. And just how many nested directories named "common" does it take to make this stuff work? <g> Edit 2: I like the "Report a Violation" link at the bottom. It's as good an idea now as it was when I was asking for it before RB implemented it. Kinda looks like yet another "Me, too" feature now, but it's still a good one to have.
