"Clean coal" is a misnomer. There is no such thing as "clean coal" just "a little less acid rain". With 10 Republicans voting for the environment over plundering Bush is going down. Special interest are behind many of these votes but mainly it's public opinion which motivates these Senators. Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska have unfortunately elected Senators who are bought and paid for by their own state's pigs at the trough. I have a friend in Alaska who tried to run for State Senate and the oil interests there sabotaged and dirty-tricked him to death.
Watch this campaign finance reform issue. If not for the Black Causus worrying about losing theuir voter drives it would be passed easily by both houses. So things are looking a little hopeful. But I'm still waiting for investigations into the "energy crisis" itself. Theft on such a grand scale.
