Thanks. There will be an investigation if the Democrats in the Senate want there to be, so long as it doesn't get them dirty too. My guess is very few democrats have any involvement in the energy "crisis" and gouging but many in The White House may have direct involvement. Therefore as "payback" for Kenneth Starr and Gray Davis they may go on the offensive. What better issue is there to hit Bush + Company with? The American People will be furious when they hear about it, the accompanying planned pollution and how much it has already cost them. Maybe more than they'll get in tax savings. Then goodbye Bush/Cheney and goodbye GOP controlled congress. Gray Davis is already investigating so it will come from out of that. Bush/Cheney made a great blunder here but you see they never guessed Jeffords would switch. Now they're achilles heel is exposed.
