Do I need to point out to you that the budget deficit under Reagan's administration was the highest in US history?

You seem to be suggesting that the president has control of budget deficits, which wasn't true then, wasn't true during Clinton's years, and isn't true now. Spending is the domain of Congress, as was aptly illustrated by the story yesterday of some nitwit Dem Congressman wanting to spend $3,000,000 to update a weather service office in his district when the weather service had said for years they don't need it, don't want it. Typical Democrat.

I think this deficit argument is one where that Dems traditionally try to rely on, but in fact show their misunderstanding of how things work. Similarly, they attempt to claim credit for a budget surplus that the Dems had nothing to do with. Somehow, because it happened while Clinton was president, that makes it Clinton's. Sorry, Clinton had nothing to do with it, just has Geo Bush (Sr) had nothing to do with the recession that got him removed from office. Unfortunately, most voters don't have the gumption to understand that fact.

I will match you $ for $

I'm not the guy saying to throw more money at this horrible liberal program we call "Social Security" -- you are.
