MSFT was up 7.7% and the Nasdaq was up 5.1%

Sure there are more volatile stocks that make larger % moves, but beyond that I don't see your point. The fact that MSFT went up 7.7% is hardly something that should be relied on as the basis of a bearish post.

I think that's more a function of the prices. Although ORCL and CSCO went up higher %wise, their base was significantly lower. Look at the absolute dollar change and I am a heckuva lot more impressed with MSFT today.knc
