Tencusatsu, The situation in the business segment of the CPU market (Intel vs. AMD) reminds me the battle of the teachers unions vs. the parents and children (vouchers). Both Intel and teachers unions know that they can't afford for the other side to get their foot in the door, and are willing to do whatever it takes to prevent it. They both know that once the slide from 100% monopoly starts, it will be swift and very painful, more painful than the current price war that Intel started in order to maintain the 100% of the business segment.
