There has been speculation on this thread that GX would be picking up telecom assets cheaply, but this is the first thing I have seen to quantify the surprising magnitude of this discount. This article likens the situation to the "pennies on the dollar" situation for real estate after the S&L debacle. "They're selling hardware like servers, routers and storage gear at discounts of 85% to 95%- new or used." Wow.
