NiceGuy, AMD warned, Intel didn't. It's that simple. Intel still expects to come within their original guidance of $6.2B to $6.8B in revenue, probably below $6.5B.

Kind of goes against the notion that for every dollar AMD loses, Intel loses ten.

To be certain, AMD's q2 eps will be a minimum 200% greater than INTC's, maybe even 350% greater...and the very real prospect of AMD's q2 net income (i.e. minimum of $75 million) exceeding that of INTC's q2 net income, if eventuated, will mark an historic and major crossover in comparative financial performances, and probably signal once and for all the changing of the guard in the microprocessor sector...such an historic and major crossover would almost certainly be accompanied by a major realignment of relative stock prices!!!
