Anyways, this is yet another sign that the bear market hasn't come to an end. As we approach the bottom, stock options will become so discredited that anybody who accepts them instead of cash will be considered loony.

Incuring the electric bill is accounted for by a charge to "Expense" and a "Liability" to the Electric Company.

The settlement of the "Liability" is accounted for separately as an expansion of capital and a reduction of the "Liability" to zero.
