Mr. Watson,

This is a magnificent evaluation.

At the time an ovum is fertilized a human life begins. From that time a process begins and that life ends some time later. There was no life before. I cannot see any definable event that is as defining as conception. Man can kill man at any time and abort the natural life cycle of a human life.

Best Wishes,
Josh Wright

Of course. But again, the mere fact of genetically human life tells us nothing in the moral sense. And yes, man can kill man at any point. AND THEN - tell me Tom, why is it wrong to kill an adult? Is it just because he's human? If genetic humanity imparts moral impunity from being slain, then one can never justify killing, as one's genetic humanity can not be qualified. Or is it wrong for other reasons?

I'm unconvinced by either side of the argument. Just trying to figure it out.
