Hey Denni--

Corporate reaction to the Q4 downturn was lightning fast, in my view, because corporations are getting wired and able to react to real-time information. The strongest companies in this downturn have been the ones who have been able to adjust more quickly than their competitors. The same will happen on the upcycle.

The wired companies do better, just like species with the more advanced nervous systems do better...in direct proportion to their ability to detect and react.

Every cycle I have seen has separated the swiftest that much more from the pack. That's why I believe the IT revolution is a secular play with decades to go. "What you know and when you know it" has always distinguished the companies with a competitive edge.
