Article...STEM CELL RESEARCH, FEEDING ON BABIES?

By: Barbara Stanley
etherzone.com

I recall it was not so long ago that the endangered specie legislation, only supposed to protect national specie treasures, especially those indigenous to America, was just the most wonderful thing to come down the pike. Only a few understood this was the camel’s nose under the tent and soon more dangerous legislation would follow. Now, bugs and rats are more protected than people. In California, during the conflagration of wildfires a few years back, because the homeowners were prohibited from digging firebreaks around their property, fires could jump and destroy homes. And all to protect a rat which was said, by the ecogreenies, to inhabit these brush lines. In Texas, because an elderberry beetle was suspected to inhabit bushes near the levies and dykes which protected a farm from flood, three people died.

I believe stem cell research is yet another example of how the creeping regulations bring low the culture. First it was just the living brain cells of the infanticide of partial birth abortion, where the living child is delivered, except for the head (for if the head were also delivered, this practice would be murder), the skull invaded and collapsed by suctioning the living brain cells. Sounds like something from a macabre sci-fi story: feeding on the living, cannibalism, to secure more life for those now ill. Now, it is the created life involved in fertility methods that will be used to ‘cure disease’.

Now, who can be against curing diseases? Yet, something so perfect sounding, appealing to the emotions, flits over the actual procedure and the fact that living embryos, future humans, will be ‘harvested’ for research. Of course, little play in the media is given to the fact that in some instances, tumors have been the result of this research. All we hear are the positive spins, the ethereal hopes of the future success of this procedure. But will it end with ‘harvesting’ discarded embryos?

I was recently emailed a photo of a Chinese man dining on a little girl baby. I checked it out for accuracy and my China expert told me that this practice is not unknown in China. Is this the result of the female infanticide that goes on in that country? When China instituted its one child per family policy, more boy babies were saved to grow to adulthood, with the final result of not only infanticide for infant girls, but now, years later, a generation of extra males for every female exists. Sounds like China manipulated, in its Godless communism, a standing army to me. With the ratio figures of somewhere around twenty males of marriageable age to one female, what else will those young men do? Will the natural progression be to train and arm them? Can’t have them in the general population fighting over the few women, can they? Has China grown themselves a fighting force of cannon fodder for their upcoming war to seize the globe?

And now, what will the progression from embryos used in research be? Will partial birth abortion become just another way to harvest a crop of living stem cells? Will fertilization become the new factory for the harvesting of living tissue for medical research? Will the laboratory replace the loving bedroom and will creation by scientists obviate the need for the Creator of All?

Are we heading into a Brave New World (where, at the present moment, the Department of Labor’s involvement in public schools classify children as “human capitol”) which will eventuate growing a Matrix like human ‘product’? Will the government, under the guise of helpful science, create classes for slavery and classes for the elite? Have we begun the slide backwards, the devolution to caste?

Just because some rich guy fell off his polo pony, and now continues his ‘acting career’ as a spokesman for stem cell research, we are now to throw to the winds all caution involved in the creation of a new life, just for product? Is this the result of the Godless communism that finds no exalted sacredness in human life? I remember when I first learned of the fertilization process, of the sperm uniting with the egg and the ensuing mitosis, the division and specifications of cells into a fully viable human being, with all the attendant promise of life. What I knew then was the miracle of human life. Just the thought of this still astounds and amazes me in its intricacies and perfection. But just how miraculous will be growing children for harvest?

Can cloning humans on a large scale be far behind? And where will those cloned humans find a soul? Will they be the new army of workers and fighters, zombies easily programmed for specific work?

I wonder, is it possible to bring any lower the beauty of the human life. When the state becomes God, we have no hope of a future that is good and free. When the designation human capitol replaces human being, we will suffer the fate of other consumable and disposable products. Go on, eat as much as you want, we’ll make more.

To be fair, I would not consider surrendering the next 18 years of one's life a mere matter of "convenience."

I think there is too much emotion on both sides of this issue, which is why I dislike discussing it. It rarely can be discussed calmly or with much clarity.
