the American people do seem to be ready to hang this guy for a crime which we cannot prove - yet. Do you think that the subset of people who post on political threads on SI are representative of the general populace? That's a straight question. Since I've retired, I've lost out on water cooler conversation so I really don't know what the people around me are thinking. I've had lunch with friends twice this week and chatted with my father on the phone but the subject never came up. We don't even know for sure yet that there's been a crime, although that now seems most likely. Karen
