of course, the majority is usually wrong at the turns. But the majority is usually correct during trends. In your opinion is the market still trending down or chopping? It would seem to still be trending down (on longer time frames). For example, the COMPX bounce beginning the week of 4/23/00 (weekly) looks similar to the bounce starting 4/8/01. In the former case, the directional downtrend continued in earnest 5 months later. Couldn't this same type of scenario also become a reality now? best... LIG
