still middlin area...and that is what makes things so dangerous in my opinion... the 1, 3, and 5 year record net long postion in the snp's for the small speculators is 91122. They stand now at 75698 contracts, down from 78233 the week of 7/3/01. It's middle ground... and even the guys Like George Slezak who analyze this data for a living will tell you that there is no signal here but caution... because there is no clear signal<gg><ng> In essence, it's a positioning game, and there are many expanding wedges going on that are going to be very volatile, and very difficult to interprate and trade. Sorry for the spelling<gg>
