I'm not sure why but I feel frustrated. As if I'm forced into defending some position that I don't hold and never took. You don't have to defend anything from me. You posted to me that the dog gets a place in the boat. That's all I expect and my contribution to your frustration was unintentional. Just because I would rush into a burning building to save my pets as well as my children, if I had any of either, doesn't mean that everyone should. I'm now off to Fresh Fields (aka Whole Foods), where I buy all my meat, as that's the best I can do for the treatment of farm animals given my body's rebelliousness in the face of vegetarianism. After that I shall finish The Stranger. Karen
